We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing marketing and sales team. This is a specialized role focused exclusively on the top of our sales funnel - prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting appointments for our Account Executives. You will not be responsible for closing deals, but rather for identifying and qualifying potential customers who are the best fit for our product. This role is perfect for someone who wants to master the art of prospecting and build a foundation for a successful sales career.
Research and identify high-potential prospects using tools like Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and industry databases
Build targeted prospect lists based on our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria
Conduct market research to understand prospect companies, industry trends, and competitive landscape
Use multiple channels for outreach including cold calling, email sequences, LinkedIn messaging, and social selling
Apply BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) qualification framework to assess prospect fit
Evaluate decision-making authority and buying process within prospect organizations
Determine technical and business requirements to ensure product-market fit
Disqualify prospects who don't meet established criteria to optimize team efficiency
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for inbound leads in Pipedrive CRM
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly activity and results reports
Analyze conversion data to optimize prospecting strategies and messaging
0-2 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience
Previous experience in prospecting/research, lead generation, or cold calling is a plus
Customer service or retail experience demonstrating communication skills
CRM Proficiency: Working knowledge of Pipedrive or similar systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)
Prospecting Tools: Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, or similar platforms
Communication Platforms: Proficiency with email automation, phone systems, and video conferencing
Research Skills: Ability to research companies, industries, and prospects using various online sources
Great communication skills in English (written, verbal)
Research & Analysis: Strong investigative skills to identify prospect needs and pain points
Organization: Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize high-value activities
